Ask Any Cop - What If They Go For Your Gun?
Try to keep them from getting it and shoot them before they succeed because you are probably going to get shot with your own weapon if you don't shoot!
Michael Brown was a bully, thug criminal that learned the hard way. Struggling with a cop over a gun is the quickest way to the morgue in every city in the world.
Missouri Governor Jay Nixon Denies Obama Admin Pressured Him Over National Guard
Governor Caught in Lie At Press Conference Stating He Never Talked to the White House
Democratic "Missouri Governor Jay Nixon adamantly denies that the White House pressured him
to resist sending in the National Guard in response to violent protesters unhappy with the Michael Brown shooting decision.
It is clear, however, that Nixon has been in close contact with President Obama's senior advisor Valerie Jarrett as the chaotic situation unfolded. According to the White House, Jarrett spoke with Nixon the first night of the protests as well as the morning after.
Deputy Press Secretary Eric Schultz confirmed that Jarrett received “updates” from Nixon, “promising to stay in close touch” as the situation continued.
“Valerie spoke to Governor Nixon both last night and this morning, and has been briefing the President on an ongoing basis since last night,” Schultz said, speaking to reporters on Air Force One. “And in each of those conversations with Governor Nixon, Valerie has pledged to stay in close coordination with the Governor in making sure that he’s getting the support he needs from the federal government.”

Peek-a-Boo We Screw You - Lois Lerner's 30,000 'Lost' Emails Surface
"An IRS watchdog has located an estimated 30,000 of the lost Lois Lerner emails
, according to a source familiar with the matter.
The Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration told congressional staffers Friday the emails belonging to the most controversial figure in the IRS controversy were located on disaster recovery tapes.
The IRS told Congress in late spring that it had lost two years worth of the former head of the tax-exempt division’s emails in a 2011 hard drive crash. They didn’t believe the emails had been backed up anywhere and said her broken hard drive had been recycled.

Pinnochio Rides - FACT CHECK: Obama's claims on illegal immigration
How Many Donuts Can Obama's Lying Nose Hold?
Barack Obama’s speech on immigration last night may have been brief, but not brief enough to exclude misleading arguments
. In a speech of less than 15 minutes, Obama managed to pack a few whoppers into his arguments for unilateral executive action, as the Associated Press noticed
. They seem to have been nearly the only media outlet who did, but they dismantle four of Obama’s supporting arguments for his actions.
“All we’re saying is that we’re not going to deport you” — No, that’s not all Obama said. Even if it were, the application of “prosecutorial discretion” to ignore an entire class of crime would still be problematic and unprecedented. However, Obama promised to issue work permits as part of this amnesty, allowing them to “compete with citizens and legal residents for better-paying jobs.”
Claimed that the number of unaccompanied children apprehended in border crossings “is now actually lower than it’s been in nearly two years” as an argument that border security has improved — Actually, the opposite is true. “The number of unaccompanied children apprehended at the border has been on the rise since the 2011 budget year,” the AP reports. In 2011, the number was 16,000, over 38,000 in FY2013, and by the end of FY2014, the number was over 68,000.
“Overall, the number of people trying to cross our border illegally is at its lowest level since the 1970s. Those are the facts.” – I caught this one last night, too. The reason that border crossings are down is because the economy crashed and there aren’t nearly as many jobs to attract workers. In the early 1980s, Ronald Reagan’s economic policies drove a 25-year expansion that came to an end in the crash of 2008, and the Obama economy produced stagnation in its place. When you recreate the stagnation of the 1970s, it has the same kinds of consequences. Arrests have risen as the economy picked up, as the AP points out, but the economy isn’t generating enough jobs to restart the big numbers of illegal crossings.
“When I took office, I committed to fixing this broken immigration system.” — So why did it take until Obama’s second term for him to get serious about it? The AP fact-check notes that Obama promised in 2008 to move on immigration during his first year in office, when he had control of both chambers of Congress. “He never kept that promise to the Latino community,” they note. No kidding.

"Land, bread and peace." "Hope and change." Both go up in a brief, euphoric smoke and turn to ashes just the same.
The party of George McClellan, Jimmy Carter and Barry Obama got clobbered in 2014. Their mantra of racism and a war on women were disproved. Those smoke screens could not hide Obamacare being anything but the promised free lunch.

Iowa Narrowly Averts Vote Fraud Disaster
Most voters pay little attention to down the ticket state executive office elections. It is in voters best interests to pay attention to those races. As example, look at the recent election of Iowa's Secretary of State.
Iowa's Sec. of State does not negotiate treaties with the State of Illinois concerning deporting their former governors to face justice. Iowa's Sec. of State deals with corporate filings and most importantly oversees Iowa's elections.
Paul Pate campaigned for Iowa Secretary of State stressing protecting the integrity of Iowan's ballots
. Brad Anderson mumbled warm and fuzzy phrases about easy voting.
It was by an extremely narrow margin that Iowan's sent Paul Pate back to serve as Sec. of State. When it comes to protecting the integrity of their ballots, it is a good thing Iowans did.
"Anderson, a former state director for President Obama’s 2012 campaign and a Des Moines business owner, says Iowa’s voter identification laws are fine as they are, and he plans to make it easier to vote
while protecting the integrity of the elections."
If the former Iowa Director for President Obama's campaign had been elected Iowa Sec. of State, Senator Courtney would be ecstatic. Instead, Senator Courtney and his comrades will take comfort in preventing a voter I. D. bill from coming to the floor of the Iowa Senate for a vote.

War on Women
General Fluke MIA
There is no doubt the war on women is being waged by the Democratic Party and the proof is blatantly obvious.
How many newspaper articles have you seen since Joni Ernst was elected tout the fact that Iowa has finally elected a woman to Congress?
None, zip, nada.
The fact that Joni Ernst is a Republican and is the first Iowa woman elected to the Senate is more than the lame stream left wing media slobs can endure. Instead of embracing Ernst's shattering of the glass ceiling the liberal media claims to exist, they instead double down with King Obama and spew his racist, sexist hate-filled rhetoric.

An Election About Everything
Labeled By The Failed MSLWM as a Seinfeld election in 2014—a campaign about nothing
Stephen F. Hayes wrote in the Weekly Standard -
"Not only is this election not about nothing, it is being fought over exactly the kinds of things that ought to determine our elections.
It’s about the size and scope of government. It’s about the rule of law. It’s about the security of the citizenry. It’s about competence. It’s about integrity. It’s about honor.
It’s about a government that makes promises to those who have defended the country and then fails those veterans, again and again and again. It’s about a president who offers soothing reassurances on his sweeping health care reforms and shrugs his shoulders when consumers learn those assurances were fraudulent. It’s about government websites that cost billions but don’t function and about “smart power” that isn’t very smart. It’s about an administration that cares more about ending wars than winning them, and that claims to have decimated an enemy one day only to find that that enemy is still prosecuting its war against us the next. It’s about shifting red lines and failed resets. It’s about a president who ignores restrictions on his power when they don’t suit him and who unilaterally rewrites laws that inconvenience him. It’s about a powerful federal agency that targets citizens because of their political beliefs and a White House that claims ignorance of what its agents are up to because government is too “vast.” In sum, this is an election about a president who promised to restore faith in government and by every measure has done the opposite.
As even Barack Obama acknowledges, the upcoming election is about his policies and those elected officials who have supported them. It’s about an electorate determined to hold someone responsible for the policy failures that have defined this administration and the scandals that have consumed it—even if many in the fourth estate will not.
And it’s about time.
...And that’s not nothing."
Witless Tom Harkin At Wit's End: "Ernst just a “really attractive” woman but not worth a vote"
I Wonder If Tom's Will 'Keep Her Mouth Shut' Over This Boondoogle?
"Retiring Democratic Iowa Sen. Tom Harkin
says that Iowa voters shouldn’t be fooled because Joni Ernst is “really attractive” and “sounds nice.”
“In this Senate race, I’ve been watching some of these ads,” Harkin said at the Story County Democrats’ annual fall barbecue last week honoring the retiring senator. “And there’s sort of this sense that, ‘Well, I hear so much about Joni Ernst. She is really attractive, and she sounds nice.’”
“Well I gotta to thinking about that. I don’t care if she’s as good looking as Taylor Swift or as nice as Mr. Rogers, but if she votes like Michele Bachmann, she’s wrong for the state of Iowa.”"
